Tips on shoplifting?

Post by TheRebelliousOne on Mon Mar 22, 2010 6:46 pm

Probably another thread for this, but i have a unique situation. Ok so i live in a rich town (dont judge, im not rich, which is why i wanna shoplift). Every store here has video cameras and those metal detector thingys in the entrance. Can anyone give me a full run through of this type of shoplifting? If there is another thread just like this, please leave a link and delete this thread

Rich people hate everyone, and based on your inexperience, I would suggest not attempting this... yet.

Work on easier stuff, like spraypaint. Dont make it obvious it was you tho

dont look nervous, there are so many rules to even make a stop in the first place, and the big one is...
if you lose sight of the suspected shoplifter even for a second you can't make the stop, because you can't verify what they had when they came in, and they could have put something back, so what i do is grab whatever item I would like to not pay for, then walk to something that would be akward to carry without both hands. I place the item I want in my pocket, and walk with the larger item through the store going in and out of isles for about 5-10 minutes, anyone following you will stickout like a sore thumb after a couple of minutes and stores rarely have enough cameras to cover everywhere... then I dig through my pocket and "realize" I don't have enough money for the large item and walk out looking disappointed! Best thing to do for any store is to simply scout the place a few days before actually going in for the snatch. Don't look too obvious, but simply look around for any cameras as subtly as you can, and try to remember what you can about any potential blind spots you can use. Like TACP said there are many rules to loss prevention. They have to see you both conceal the item, and walk past the register with it. Besides that it all comes down to preference. Personally when I was snatching items on the regular (I still do every now and then) I would use bolt cutters to cut off the ink tags, and besides that just stash it whenever I felt most comfortable. A lot of shoplifting comes less to rules and down to how you feel about the situation. If it doesn't feel right, you shouldn't do it. As far as any of the specifics from there, I'll let everyone else cover it from there. Everyone has their own tactics.

edit: Totally meant to say wire cutters, use wire cutters to cut off the ink tags. Was a bit drunk when I posted this the first go around.

I did loss prevention for a few months...the VERY best tactic is to carry a empty syringe.(i might have mentioned it in a previous thread)
If you stole 500 dollars in razor blades, and you were holding a syringe, I would NOT go near you under ANY circumstances. (with big risks comes big rewards) You will get shot by cops if you wait to long to bolt. Im almost positive that its attemped murder if you stick someone with a needle.

unless its a clean needle, and you don't have anything like aids or hep c, I believe... then I actually am not sure what the charge would be down graded too... maybe aggrivated battery? because you caused the fear of potential injury...

if you manage to hit a vein or artery... good luck with that accuracy while stabbing... even so, it still takes a lot of air to be fatal... you would more likely just end up with a little brain damage... but if you poked me with a needle, I would kill you brutally in the parking lot... your best bet would be to just run in the first place

a tiny bit of air into your body, veins help will be absorbed into your blood stream if not placed there. when the air hits your heart it will make you heart hiccup you heart then stops and you fall dead on the floor in a few seconds.

Re: Tips on shoplifting?

evidently you have never gotten an IV drip of anything... tiny air bubbles constantly make their way into your veins... and the amount you get during perhaps a long stay is well over what you would get in a single syringe... your heart "hiccuping" wouldn't do much unless it started into a full cardiac arrest... but your heart would just fall back into a rhythm... its your brain that you would have to worry about, the air bubble could potentially stay in the brain and cut off blood, but slowly absorbed from tissue into your veins would eventually work its way out of your body and not build up in significant amounts to kill you... it needs to be a BIG bubble right to the vein

straight to your vein 50cc of air will cause an embalism or stroke...
30cc will not do anything to you... if you wanna say safe thats close... might fuck you up a bit but your body will absorb it just fine... 50cc can be taken just fine if it is in the skin, your body cant absorb anything that well from under your skin... you would have a little bubble for awhile.

Do you know the drip? Do you know why it is called a drip? so the liquid drips in a small container so the air doesn't get into you. That is also why the flick needles and push a little out so now air goes into you because straight air kills you. No oxygen goes into you with an IV drip they are made to drip so they stop that from happening.

you still get bubbles with the drip... go get a saline IV you will see them... flicking the needle doesn't do anything... they push the air out so that when they insert the needle they can pull back and see if they get blood into the needle to make sure they have the vein, and so its a smooth delivery, and so they can tell if they have the right amount that they are about to push into you... I SCUBA dive, I know the amount of gas it takes to embalise your ass into extinction, I have worked in hospitals and have watched many an IV started... I have watched RNs push many of drugs.... and if your being a fuck-tard and they don't have the time to clear the air out and there isn't much in there they don't because it won't kill you...

EDIT: Small amounts of air often get into the blood circulation accidentally during surgery and other medical procedures (for example a bubble entering an intravenous fluid line), but most of these air emboli enter the veins and are stopped at the lungs, and thus a venous air embolism that shows any symptoms is very rare.

For Venous Air Embolisms, death may occur if a large bubble of gas (centimeters) becomes lodged in the heart, stopping blood from flowing from the right ventricle to the lungs (this is similar to vapor lock in engine fuel systems). However, experiments in animals show that the amount of gas necessary for this to happen is quite variable, and also depends on a number of other factors, such as body position. Very large and symptomatic amounts of venous air emboli may also occur in rapid decompression in severe diving or decompression accidents, where they may interfere with circulation in the lungs and result in a choking sensation or hypoxia.

I am cursed with a town of deep pocketed pricks as well. There are ways to beat them, but keep in mind not only do they have nothing to loose, their thought patterns will generally be more toward: Look at this little fucker trying to steal what I would pay my hard earned money to buy.

All you need to remember when your doing it is this: Fuck the cameras (I like to give em the finger if I'm making a big heist) they are only used in extreme cases ie. robbery, major inventory loss, or direct notification by a high ranking employee.

Fuck the civilians. If someones in your isle, just take what your taking calmly, if they happen to see you, give them "the look". Not any look, the "We both know you saw what I just did and if you even think about informing the authorities I will shit all over you" look.

Stores WILL chase you, chase policy or not, theres always the rouge fucker who will chase you and hold you, so BRING SOME MACE.

Hope for the best. Prepare for the worst.

In Britain there is a police web page with pictures of shoplifters hahaha! So saying fuck the cameras is somewhat silly. Although a lot of the images arent exactly fantastic or crystal clear Very Happy

Yes, I suppose its not all too smart hehe. I just have a very precise organization of my methods that has been working well for me over the years.

Not that they're foolproof, don't get me wrong, there is a lot of running and ninja skills required afro
